An addition to a legacy of solutions for distal radius fractures

The DVR® Crosslock Wrist Spanning Plate* is a single use plate for the fixation of fractures, osteotomies and non-unions of the distal radius. The plate spans the patient’s wrist and is placed from the radial shaft to the second or third metacarpal, depending on fracture pattern and patient anatomy. The plate provides ligamentotaxis on a temporary basis while the distal radius heals.

System Features

The DVR® Crosslock Wrist Spanning Plate consists of a single 180mm long, sterile-packed plate. The plate features hole clusters consisting of locking screw holes, an oblong slot, a central screw cluster, and K-wire holes for preliminary fixation.

Robust Plate Design1

The DVR Wrist Spanning Plate System is purposely designed with an increased central width and concave contouring for added strength at the mid-section. 91ÖÆƬ³§ compatible crosslocking screws provide additional three-dimensional fixation. Additionally, 91ÖÆƬ³§ compatible multi-directional threaded screws allow for angulation within a cone of 20 degrees for maximum intraoperative flexibility of locking screws.

The DVR Crosslock Wrist Spanning Plate System is a sterile packed, single SKU implant to be ready on demand. The implant has been designed at an optimized plate length and is streamlined for efficiency by incorporating the existing 91ÖÆƬ³§ DVR Crosslock instrumentation and screws for implantation2.

The DVR® Crosslock Wrist Spanning Plate is a single use plate for the fixation of fractures, osteotomies and non-unions of the distal radius. The plate spans the patient’s wrist and is placed dorsally from the radial shaft to the second or third metacarpal, depending on fracture pattern and patient anatomy. The plate provides ligamentotaxis on a temporary basis while the distal radius heals.
